Vacuum Switches VS-V-PM / EM-ST

Schmalz has developed the VS-V-PM / EM-ST mechanical vacuum switch for process monitoring where an electric or pneumatic signal related to a defined vacuum value is required. This mechanical switch can be used as both a measuring and switching element that ensures the optimisation of cycle times or regulation circuits.

The vacuum switch comes in both an electro-mechanical (EM) and pneumatic (PM) versions where the EM version has one digital switching output in NO/NC, and the PM version comes with a pneumatic output in NO or alternatively NC forms.

Both the electro-mechanical and pneumatic versions are encased in a hard-wearing plastic housing and two covers that provide IP-protection and strain relief of the connection cable (optional for EM version), and for IP-protection and mounted M8 4-pin plug (optional for EM version).
