PFYN VU1 Flat Suction Pads

The flat suction pads (type PFYN VU1) diameter sizes ranging from 15 mm to 95 mm have been developed by Schmalz for applications in multi-shift operations with very short cycle times. The PFYN VU1 has been designed to securely handle oily metal sheets (automobile production), cardboard and sheets of wood as well as extremely abrasive work pieces such as rough cardboard sheets.

This robust, wear resistant suction pad, with a single sealing lip, is made of the durable Vulkollan VU1, and a positive connection to nipple which withstands even very high loading.

• Temperature resistance: -40 °C to +80 °C, short-term resistance up to +100 °C
• Material Vulkollan VU1, very resistant to tearing
• Good resistance to chemicals – (unaffected by oil enabling the handling of sheet metal)
• Very low wear, about 10- 12 mm to DIN 53516
• Supports on the bottom resulting in no perm
